Our History
1977
Summit Hygiene is Born
Established by Trevor Barber in 1977 in his garden shed, originally supplying Vanisol, a specialist toilet cleaner & descaler
1997
New Premises
Move into our very own premises in Chesham.
2008
Hyclenz Launch
Summit Hygiene launches their Hyclenz brand, a dedicated skin care, sanitising, and washroom dispensing brand.
2010
Sale of Frontline
Sale of the Frontline Baby Change Unit business, to allow for an increased focus on core washroom and hygiene products.
2014
Acquisition of Anchor Cleaning Supplies
Summit Hygiene acquired Anchor Cleaning Supplies and the Aona brands
2017
New Premises & ISO 9001
Summit Hygiene moves to a new premises in Leighton Buzzard to support operational growth and increased stock holding. The company also achieves ISO 9001 certification
2019
Green Roots Initiative
Summit Hygiene launched its Green Roots initiative to drive a focus around our commitment to ESG and CSR.
2020
Incorporation
Officially incorporated as Summit Hygiene Limited on 25 September 2020
2021
Ozoklenz Launch & ISO 14001
Summit Hygiene launches its chemical-free cleaning brand, Ozoklenz. An aqueous ozone cleaning solution, supporting safer and more sustainable cleaning. Later that year, the ISO 14001 certification is also achieved.
2025
Saclo Launch in the UK
Summit Hygiene is the approved exclusive distributor of Saclo in the UK. The range was launched to the UK market officially in 2025. Saclo is an innovative continuous sack system designed to reduce waste, improve hygiene and increase efficiency
